The 1984-P Quarter can still be found in gem condition with minimal efforts. Its mintage is over 675 million making it very easy to obtain. Only in MS67 condition or higher is it considered scarce. There were a total of ten coins with a face value of $1.82 included in each 1984 Mint Set. The coins included the 1984-P-D Kennedy Half Dollars, Washington Quarters, Roosevelt Dimes, Jefferson Nickels, and Lincoln Cents. Also included were two mint tokens from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints.
US Mint sales for the set suffered a decline of more than one million from the level of the 1981 Mint Set. This may have been the result of collector frustration of not having the set for two years. 7 11 craps.
